Telford's Warehouse

Heritage Open Day: A substantial brick warehouse built in the 1790s and attributed to the famous engineer Thomas Telford. The building is now used as a bar, restaurant and music/arts venue. Restored in the 1980's and then again in 2000 after a major fire. Superb views from the bar across Chester's former canal port. The warehouse was constructed partly over the canal to assist with the unloading and loading of boats on the water.
