St Mary's Church
Heritage Open Day: This early 14th century medieval church is amongst Hull’s oldest churches and was originally a chapel of ease to the priory in North Ferriby. The Church has been modified in various ways over the centuries, most notably the installation of a stone vaulted walkway into the tower in 1863, a move which neatly got around proposals to pull the tower down in order to widen Lowgate - this year the church will be commemorating in various ways the 150th anniversary of this modification
