St. Leonard's Church, Ipstones
Heritage Open Day: Specially on show for Heritage Open Days will be our collection of embroideries by Elizabeth Wardle and the Leek Embroidery Society. These are too fragile to have on regular display and this is the only time this year when they will be on show. Church contains a Romanesque tympanum. Chancel added by George Gilbert Scott Jnr., later modified by Gerald Horsley. Windows by Burlison and Grylls. Wall paintings by James Eadie-Reid.
