Loughborough Orchestra Summer Concert 2024
Trevor Lax has been conductor of The Loughborough Orchestra since 2011, during which time, he has successfully given enthusiastic leadership. He has used his wide musical links to give experience to a number of young musicians of playing solo with an orchestra.
This will be Trevor's last concert as Musical Director. He will share the stage with John Bean, who is taking over the post of MD.
The programme is a wonderfully melodic selection, including An Underground World, with both music and images from Trevor. Then there is Beethoven's Piano Concerto no. 3, played by well known, popular guest soloist, Jeremy Kimber, and finishing with Schumann's beautiful 4th Symphony.
