Handel's Messiah performed by Levens Choir with the Kent Sinfonietta, directed by Ian Jones

Ever since Handel wrote ‘Messiah’ in one month in 1742 it has stayed a firm favourite with singers and audiences alike and could well rate as one of the most popular pieces of music ever written. It is several years since Levens Choir last sang this wonderful piece so we will be giving two performances this December with the Kent Sinfonietta led by Roland Fudge and four soloists – Philippa Hyde, Joyce Tindsley, Stephen Newlove and Jolyon Dodgson. The first performance is on December 7th in St M
Concert starts at 7:00pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

Tickets cost £10 if paid for before the day of the concert or £12 at the door. Accompanied children and students are free.
