RSPB Chester Field Trip – RSPB Coombes Valley reserve, near Leek

This oak woodland in a dramatic steep-sided valley at the end of the Staffordshire Peaks should be alive with bird song, including many migrants. We may see pied flycatchers, spotted flycatchers, whitethroats, tree pipits and wood warblers, plus a wide variety of butterflies.

Please phone the trip leader, John Dawson, at least three days before the event to book your place and double-check the details. Newcomers and beginners welcome. Car sharing is encouraged.
