Tuesday 19th May 2015 marks the 100th anniversary of the death of the first Hoby resident sent to war. At 6.00 p.m. on Tuesday 19th May 2015, there will be an evensong service and a half muffled peal to remember George H Sharpe 2nd Battalion, Leicestershire Regimen at all Saints Church, Hoby.
