Allegri Summer Concert: Kentmere

Allegri Singers and Orchestra perform Mozart’s Requiem and Purcell's Welcome to All the Pleasures alongside other pieces. Listen to a performance of the Requiem given by a choir only slightly larger than the 16 singers at its first performance. The first half of the programme includes one of Purcell's lively Birthday Odes and Pachelbel's joyful Rejoice in the Lord. Lovely choral music for a summer evening.
