Allegri Summer Concert: Crosthwaite

Allegri Singers and Orchestra perform Mozart's Requiem and Purcell's Welcome to All the Pleasures among other pieces. Listen to a performance of the Requiem given by a choir only slightly larger than the 16 singers that gave the first performance. The first half of the programme includes one of Purcell's lively Birthday Odes and Pachelbel's joyful Rejoice in the Lord. Lovely music for a summer evening in the Lyth Valley.

7.30pm, free concert with a retiring collection in aid of church funds
