When Shirley's good friend Jane makes a date with a young man, Shirley is only too happy to lend Jane her house for the purpose, as this leaves Shirley free to spend the evening with Jane's husband Roger! But when Shirley's husband arrives home from abroad unexpectedly with a pretty German air hostess, later to be followed by Roger to visit Shirley, the scene is set for an evening of hilarious entertainment as all the guilty parties try desperately to keep their secrets secret.
