St Matthew & St Oswald's Church
Heritage Open Day: The original church was built in 1864, the architect being A Smith who also designed the Royal Courts of Justice in London. The church was considerably enlarged in 1881 when the nave and chapel were added. There is a fine calvary in the churchyard.
