Eglwys Llanbadrig Church Visit
This ancient Church is well worth a visit – especially if you can see inside. This is fairly easily done between April and September ( NOT 22nd ) between 10am and 12pm or 2pm till 4pm, when the Church may have a steward present. Llanbadrig Church is built on one of the oldest sites in Anglesey dating back to A D 440. The Welsh name Llanbadrig means “Church of St Patrick”. It is dedicated to St Patrick, and the legend is that he was wrecked on Ynys Badrig (Middle Mouse). He found refuge in a cave (Ogof Badrig), and fresh water in a nearby well (Ffynnon Badrig). He then founded the Church on the headland as a thanks to God. The Chancel is longer than the Nave which is unusual. The Church was restored in 1884 by the 3rd Lord Stanley of Alderley, a Muslim. more
FREE, donations greatfully accepted. If church is locked and you wish to visit, then telephone Robert Williams 01407 710387, and he might be free to come and open.

The film has a deep connection to music, in particular the music of Chopin and Debussy. The concert will include the 17 minute film and a piano recital of works by Chopin, Chopin- Godowsky, and Satie. Ivan will sign copies of his new CD, 22 Chopin Studies by Leopold Godowsky which was recently chosen by the Daily Telegraph as CD of the week. more

Every event on WhereCanWeGo has been added by the organisers themselves, so you get a really good feel for what events are about.
If you're organising a public event, you can promote it for FREE by registering here ~ it works so well.
Don't take our word. See what our organisers say:
"We used it to promote a one day open day and it turned out to be the most effective way of getting visitors; slightly over 1/3 rd came through your site, 1/3 from posters and flyers and rather less than 1/3 from the £1,000 of local press ads we paid for!." - The Midland Gliding Cub.
"We had an excellent response from our posting on WhereCanWeGo.com, and it was responsible for drawing folk from a wide area to our event; we recommend you as being the most effective form of publicity around." - Barbara , Village Celebration Food & Crafts Fairs.
