Sheep Shearing and Wool Days
Wool made East Anglia rich for hundreds of years up until about 1800. This was due to the production of wool and (later) the working of it in various cloths. Some villages in this area became known for their type of cloth. Sheep were also used for their skins (for clothes and to write on) for their horn (for nocks, handles, utensils, etc.) and for nourishment (for milk and meat). Visitors will.. more

Open Coffee Morning
Our monthly coffee morning is an ideal opportunity to meet other people in the area, enjoy a cuppa and have a chat.
