Lennel Bank is a terraced garden overlooking the River Tweed, consisting of wide borders packed with shrubs and perennial planting, some unusual. The water garden, built in 2008, is surrounded by a rockery and utilises the slope ending in a pond. There is a small kitchen garden with raised beds in unusual shapes. Different growing conditions throughout the garden from dry, wet, shady and sun.. more

2Toots Scooter Club
Big charity scooter ride, from Ashington Lakeside, to bamburgh Castle. approx 100 classic Lambrettas and vespas will follow the coastal route, through Amble warkworth Embleton Beadnell Seahouses, and into bamburgh about 1330 hrs on Sunday 27th May, all riders will have donated to The Teenage Cancer Trust. Hoig roast, Kids ride, facepainting, on Bamburgh Castle Green. All riders welcome. Scooters.. more

The Queen’s Jubilee Flower Festival
The lovely Northumbrian village of Belford is celebrating The Queen’s Jubilee by holding a Flower Festival "60 Glorious Years". So come and join us to see this wonderful garden with tennis courts a beautiful walled garden, a pond and a maize this garden has everything even a listed dog kennel in the court yard. Also in the court yard you can enjoy a cuppa and some wonderful homemade cakes. more
