Park Green House.

Heritage Open Day: This unique Flemish style merchant's house c.1720, with its excellently restored interior is a must for a visit. Here business was conducted on the ground floor with family quarters on the two upper floors. Home to the locally important Ryle family, dyers, silk manufacturers and later cotton producers, one of the members married Richard Arkwright's granddaughter. The facade features an upper half-moon window know as a Diocletian window named after the Roman emperor
