Charles Roe House

Heritage Open Day: The house was the residence of Charles Roe from 1753 to 1781, the important 18th century industrialist who built Macclesfield's first two large silk spinning mills, and later several copper and brass establishments to become the third most important brass producer in the British Isles. His company is also responsible for discovering the famous copper mine on Anglesey - Parys Mountain. As important art event created by Incubation Arts will be on view.
