Northamptonshire Local History Day
Three beautifully illustrated lectures, and a recent film on the foundation of Northampton General Hospital plus refreshments and a buffet lunch make this a very popular day. The theme covers the period 1675 - 1875 and the impact of Northamptonshire people like Philip Doddridge, William Carey, William Knibb and Caroline Chisholm on the locality and the world.
10am doors open. Lectures start at 10.30am and the day concludes by 4pm.
