170th Anniversary of the Opening of the Old Southampton Cemetery

In 1846 on the 7th May 170th years ago the Victorian Cemetery was opened in Southampton.
To celebrate this event Friends of Southampton Old Southampton (FoSOC) will be having a musical events.
A Marquee on the lawn in front of the Anglican Chapel will houses the events with displays of the old Southampton. Refreshment will be available.

All free but donations are very welcomed!

Mayor of Southampton arriving @ 10.30 am to open the event
