Canals by Numbers: The History of the Union Canal

Join Alan Forrester from the Scottish Waterways Trust for a talk exploring the social and industrial history of Edinburgh’s Union Canal, opened in 1822, as a 32 mile long uninterrupted ’contour canal’ from Edinburgh Quay in the heart of the capital to the Falkirk Wheel.

From 7.30pm. Free for members, £2 for guests.
