The Old Medicine House and Herbs - A Blackden Trust and Northwest Herb Society Joint Tour
The Old Medicine House at Blackden is a Tudor, timber-framed building which was moved from Staffordshire in 1970 by Alan Garner and his wife Griselda. With the help of the previous owners, we have been researching the use of the House by the Johnson company and we have a fascinating story to tell. Members of the Herb Society will be able to discuss the effectiveness of what was produced.
The talk will be followed by a tour of the House and Garden with its herb beds and collection of prize-winn
