More To Do - Wherever You Are

Much Ado About Nothing

When arrogant, confirmed bachelor Benedick returns home after his latest adventure, he must face his old sparring partner and rival explorer, the formidable Beatrice. The sparks that fly from their verbal insults catch the eye of the newly bethrothed Claudio and Hero who conspire to bring these reluctant lovers together. Meanwhile, more sinister plots are afoot, with the scheming Don John intent upon ruining the merrymaking for all… Join us on a summer evening in July for Shakespeare’s classic comedy Much Ado About Nothing. Set in the late Victorian period of exploration and discovery and held in the lovely garden of the History Faculty of the University of Oxford, this promises to be a visually compelling performance, featuring a fast paced and accessible script. Following on from our sold-out run of Polly Teale's Brontë, we promise you a show that is full of wit, cheer and laughs - a perfect way to spend a summer evening in Oxford!

Time: 7.30 - 10 pm with one interval. Matinee performances on Saturday 15 and Saturday 22 July. The 15 July matinee is a relaxed perfomance. All tickets are £10. All other performances £15/13 concessions.
