Porcelain Stars and Snowflakes
Ceramic artist Melanie Hopwood will lead this hands-on workshop to introduce you to the special qualities of porcelain clay. You will learn how to roll, cut, pierce, impress and emboss this fine, white, smooth clay to create a number of beautiful, delicate porcelain star and snowflake decorations. After the workshop Melanie will take away the decorations to kiln fire them, finishing with a clear shiny glaze, ready to return to you 2 to 3 weeks later, in plenty of time to give as unique Christmas
