Born 1964, Robert had a career in engineering before pursuing his artistic talent. He studied Fine Art at Sunderland University and is currently living and working in Northumberland.

CLASSIC CLAPTON the World’s No1 Eric Clapton Tribute Band featuring front-man Mike Hall will be making a welcome return to Hexham in October after a gap of 4 years.
The band will be performing at Queen’s Hall, Beaumont Street, Hexham on Friday 26 October at 7.30pm.

A day of guided trail blazing in the heart of Kielder and Wark Forests in Northumberland. you will get to drive a variety of tracks not usually open to the public throughout the heart of the forest well away from the road and other forest users. For drivers of road legal 4x4 vehicles with route choices to suit all.
Join us for a walk after dark this Halloween in search of the creatures that call our reserve home. Learn all about bats and listen to their calls through the bat detector. Weather permitting we will also visit a moth trap to see what our bats have been feeding on. This is an outdoor event, held after dark.
Up cycle an empty glass jar to make a beautiful stained glass lantern to light up the dark nights. All children must be accompanied by an adult. We will be inside, but please dress appropriately for the weather.

The 31st Art & Craft Fair in Haltwhistle will take in the Masonic Hall on Banks Terrace on Saturday 3rd November, between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.
The venue for the event and is not far from the Main Street in Haltwhistle. It is a comfortable, modernised hall with good disabled access.
Now in its 4th year, the Craft Fair showcases a range of unique items made by Northumbrian crafters and is designed for those looking for something special for Christmas.
As well as crafts, the event offers an opportunity to catch up with friends over tea and cake.
Get closer to nature and drop in for some free wild activities for both adults and children. Try bird bingo, guided walks and talks, plus all the usual trails, bird hides and natural play. Owl pellet dissection is a separate bookable event (2 sessions available 11am & 2pm).
One of a series of monthly talks on a variety of subjects. Talks last up to an hour and are followed by a cream tea with home-made scones and jams. It is useful to the organisers to have a rough idea of numbers attending, so they can bake enough scones, so if you intend coming please contact them if possible.
