Heritage Open Day: St Mary's Church, Felmersham, is awarded 3 stars in Simon Jenkins ‘England’s Thousand Best Churches’. The Church is a fine example of Early English Gothic church architecture. Its magnificent Early English West Front is ornate with a finely moulded and shafted door, and an arcade of seven arches with detached shafts above. The interior is cruciform with octagonal piers.
