Dock Road Pumping Station

Heritage Open Day: Grade II listed 1910 Edwardian gas -powered pumping station for sewage treatment - rare example. Circular single storey brick building with arched windows. Two Crossley Brothers engines driving Hayward Tyler pumps; restored and working. Volunteers will be on site to give talks throughout the afternoon.
