Derwentwater Independent Hostel (Barrow House)

Heritage Open Day: From follies to fell running, explore the fascinating history and grounds of Barrow House, a Georgian mansion that was built for Joseph Pocklington in 1787. Guided tours of the house will be running throughout the afternoon and there will be tours of the grounds (approximately 20 minutes long and some uneven ground) at 1300 and 1500.
