Woodend Music Society: Rohan de Saram (cello), Suren de Saram (percussion) and Kausikan Rajeshkumar

This afternoon’s programme will include the premiere of Arias and Cadenzas, a new 20-minute piece commissioned from David Ward by WMS and sound to accompany specially filmed video projections by Oonagh Devoy. The second half will include movements from Bach's solo cello suites, Chopin's Barcarolle (piano) and a free improvisation for all of the musicians.
