Hay Fever by Noël Coward

Following the success of our sold-out production of Polly Teale's Brontë in March and this summer's Much Ado About Nothing, Thistledown Theatre is delighted to present this hilarious and brazen comedy as the perfect alternative Christmas show.

One weekend during the long, hot summer of 1925, the bohemian and eccentric Bliss family each invite a guest to their country pile for the weekend - without telling each other. Unsurprisingly, hilarity and high jinks follow when the bemused guests are treated to an evening of parlour games, theatrics and generally bad behaviour!

Based on a real-life family who were close to Noël Coward, Hay Fever is guaranteed to have you in stitches - a perfect addition to your festive season!

This amateur production of “Hay Fever” is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, LTD.
Performance dates and times: Friday 15 December, 7.30pm; Saturday 16 December, 3.00pm and 7.30pm; Sunday 17 December, 3.00pm; Monday 16 December, 7.30pm; Tuesday 17 December, 7.30pm. Tickets are £14/£12, and are available on the door and on our ticketing website.
