Sherwood Observatory Public Open Event - 12th Jan 2019
Experience the wonders of the night sky from Sherwood observatory, Nottinghamshire. January 12th 2019 kicks off to a themed event titled Mars and is the basis of the rolling talk throughout the evening. We boast a computer controlled 24-inch Newtonian reflecting telescope and will be opened up for the public to view wonders of the night sky, in addition there will also be various other telescopes on celestial treasures in the night sky. Also, we will have our radio astronomy section offering
Gates open at 6.45pm, and close again when the last visitor has left. Adults (over 16) - £5 Under 16 - £1 (under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult) Booking is not required.
