Iffley Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Secluded old village with renowned Norman church, featured on cover of Pevsner's Oxon Guide. Visit 7 gardens ranging in variety and style from the large Malt House garden and a thatched C17 cottage garden to mixed family gardens with shady borders and vegetables. Varied planting throughout the gardens including herbaceous borders, shade loving plants, roses, fine specimen trees and plants in terracing. Features incl water features, statues, formal gardens, small lake and Thames riverbank.
Sun 9 June (2-6). Combined adm £5, Children free. Home-made teas in village hall. Times:14:00 to 18:00. Open for charity.
