Heritage Open Day: Drop in badge making workshop. Find out about the history of badge making and how badges were used at Silverdale Colliery. Help us design a new mining badge for Silverdale and take one home. Badges have been a part of our history for many years. They were part of local mining history and Silverdale Colliery had badges of its own.
As part of a National Lottery Heritage Fund project we are asking the community to help us to design a new commemorative mining badge as a reminder
