Victorian Christmas at Rockingham Castle

Candle lit trees, roaring fires and magnificent period costume – enjoy festive magic with a Victorian twist at Rockingham Castle from Wednesday 27th November to Sunday 1st December.

Visitors will be transported back to Christmas Eve in 1849, to the reign of Queen Victoria, as the Watson family gather for their traditional Christmas celebrations.

With the Castle rooms decorated just as it would have been at the time, guests will be entertained by the housekeeper, governess, butler or foo

Tours run every 15 minutes throughout the day from 11am on the following days:
Wednesday 11am to 5pm
Thursday 11am to 5pm
Friday 11am to 7.30pm
Saturday 11am to 5pm
Sunday 11am to 5pm
