Amazing Grace depicts the life of the 18th century politician William Wilberforce - one of the youngest ever members of parliament, who left behind a legacy that would be remembered for hundreds of years. At the age of just 21, he found the courage to take on the British Empire in order to abolish slavery - over time becoming allies with Prime Minister James Pitt as the two men fought together to put an end to the inhuman trade once and for all.
