Join in the fun and help us raise funds for OK Our Kids by Running, Walking or Cycling 2K or 5K in Fancy dress. How creative you are is up to you. Let’s brighten up the world over the holiday season!
What is the Rotary Jingle Bell Jog you may ask?
The Rotary Jingle Bell Jog is a virtual event in aid of OK Our Kids where people can walk, cycle or run either 2k or 5k in whatever way they can but in a jingle bell themed fancy dress. It is for all ages and abilities to complete between 19th December and 1st January.
There will be an award for the best and most creative Fancy Dress. Every runner will get a medal for taking part, providing they send in the proof; a photo of themselves doing the event in Fancy Dress, and if possible (but not essential) a screenshot of the distance they have achieved.
So wherever you are at home or out and about, this is going to be a fun event for everyone and hopefully raise a few festive spirits.
Rotary have chosen to support the charity “OK” Our Kids whose mission is to help young children deal confidently with the challenges and dangers of staying safe at home, school and in the community: to empower them with the skills they need to face everyday situations knowing what the right thing to do is. OK Our Kids aim is to get a “Watch Out” book to every primary school child and a “Mistakes and Ladders” board game to every class in every primary school.
It is £10 per person. Don’t forget, you get both a medal for doing it and the fun of taking part. Registration ends on the 18th of December at Midnight.
