Our ancient Church Cowley village church of St James is decorated with Christmas trees from the Parish, schools, churches and groups in the local community, hoping for peace in Cowley and the world
5 travelling trees of peace visiting local schools, churches, homes and community spaces
4 musical evenings :
Saturday 10th December, 7.30-9.30 Brass for peace - a concert with Jubilee Brass and organist Liam Cartwright £10 in advance, £12 on the door £2 children and students
Tuesday 13th December. 7.30-9.00 Sing for peace - an evening with Rising Voices community folk choir
Wednesday 14th December, 7.00-9.00 Songs of peace - a harmony singing workshop with Emily Marshall
Saturday 17th December, 4.00-5.00 Jazz for peace - The Gospel Jazz Project
Sunday 18th December, 4.30-5.30 Festival outdoor Carol Service, with the return of the travelling trees of peace - church open with mulled wine afterwards
7.00-8.30 Shine in the dark - a harmony singing workshop with Emily Marshall
Thursday 16th, 7.00-8.30 and the Gospel Jazz Project

Friday 17th, 7.30-9.30 Light up Cowley - a concert with Jubilee Brass and singer Doug Loveridge £10, free for children and full time students
