Barn Sessions : Leonie Evans and guests
This gig was postponed from Halloween due to illness.
Join the enthralling vocal talent of jazz/folk/blues singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Leonie Evans, for an intimate performance in the unique setting of the Medieval Barn.
As well as being a songwriter, Leonie also has a passion for history so plays a lot of pre war Jazz, blues, country, gospel and Latin music. Expect to hear an array of languages and her well known ability to play ‘Frumpet‘ (her name for vocal trumpet).
Like nothing else I've ever heard in my life. I was just blown away with her - Cerys Matthews, BBC Radio 6
Leonie will be joined by musician Kai Carter, and by Corrine Harragin who will be telling some spooky stories!
This gig will be seated cabaret style, around tables. There is plenty of air and space to spread out in the magnificent medieval barn. But please remember there is limited heating, so dress warmly. The bar will be open from 7pm. Free parking is available on site.
