Britain's What's On Event Guide
Clophill Village Scarecrow Festival Weekend
This Scarecrow Festival is to be held on the weekend of
Saturday 23 September from 10am - 4pm and on Sunday 24 September from 12noon - 4pm in the village of Clophill, Bedfordshire MK45 4BE
This is our biennial event which involves the whole village. There is no fixed theme this time, it is a free choice of scarecrow/outfits.
We expect about 25 Scarecrows will be displayed in front gardens all around the village and in the churchyard of St Mary's Church in the High Street.
Programmes with a map and voting forms will be available from The Green and St Mary's Church at a cost of £5. The programme is valid for both days
Lunches and Teas will be in or outside of St Mary's Church available during the times shown that the event is open. There will also be a local ice cream van in the churchyard each day
This is an event for all the community with all profits going to St Mary's Church
