Luton Hoo Estate Walled Garden Open Wednesdays
Walled Garden designed by Capability Brown accessed through the stunning lime tree avenue. Volunteer led project celebrating 21 years in 2022.
Open Wednesdays are the opportunity to see how the garden has improved over the years.
Free guided tours by our researchers happen on the hour throughout the day. Meet our volunteer gardeners while looking around the garden.
There may be opportunities too for a tour of the Victorian farm buildings (the venue for many film and television locations).
Produce can be bought including Luton Hoo honey, seasonal fruit and vegeetables, plants and cut flowers.
Refreshments can be obtained from our Woodyard Cafe in the Shooting Lodge which is accessed via our picturesque woodland walk.
Other events happen during the year see our website www.lutonhooestate.co.uk including some theatrical performances.
Access is via the A1081 between Luton & Harpenden West Hyde Road/Newmill End turning LU1 4LF - there is no entrance to or from the hotel.
