Damerham Fair & Horticultural Show
The Damerham Fair is one of the most popular village fairs in the region attracting over 2000 people through the gates. Featuring a traditional tented horticultural show, main arena events, stalls, children's activities, live music and a fun dog show and NEW for this year a countryside area and demonstration area, it is the perfect day out with something for all the family to enjoy.
This year, back by popular demand, the fair will see the return of the hilarious Damerham Derby. Picture adults dressed as jockeys on horseback vying for the coveted Damerham Derby trophy! There is something for everyone all afternoon - horticultural and culinary competitions in the tent, in the main arena maypole dancing, space hopper, wheel barrow and peddle car racing for kids. Bird of prey display, activities and games. The running of 2 Derby's and egg throwing something for the whole family to enjoy and take part in. The fun dog show has classes for all shapes and sizes and starts at 11.30. Around the field in the beautiful setting of Damerham there are trades stands, children's play areas, bouncy castle and activities including transfer tattoos, football goal, feed the apple to the pig, pick a lolly and find the minion, bottle stall, coconut shy and skittles. Refreshments include a licenced bar, BBQ, tea and cakes.
Admission is £4.00 adults and over 16s – under 16s are free. Open from 11.00 onwards Proceeds will go to village charities. More details on our website.
