Chads Theatre presents Ladies in Lavender from 3rd to 10th September

(based on the film written and directed by Charles Dance)
Based on the screenplay starring Judi Dench and Maggie Smith (which was in turn based on the short story by William J Locke) Ladies in Lavender tells the tale of the sisters Ursula and Janet who live in a fishing village in Cornwall, in 1936.
When a young, polish violinist bound for America is washed ashore, the Widdington sisters take him in and nurse him back to health. However, the presence of the young man disrupts their lives and the community in which they live.
