About the event
I have always been obsessed by art. I studied Fine Art at Nottingham University and spent some time living in Holland studying at Arnhem University. I’m originally Australian, now living in Nottingham.
My work is an exploration between taxidermy and Victorian portraiture, birds being my main subject. The paintings are self portraits or portraits of friends and family, the birds representing the person I’m painting.
All the paintings are original pieces, mixed media on canvas.
