Fydell House - Open Garden for NGS
Within 3 original red brick walls a formal garden was been created in 1995. Yew buttresses, arbours and four parterres use dutch themes. The borders contain herbaceous plants and shrubs. The N facing border holds shade loving plants. There is a mulberry and walnut tree. The astrolabe was installed in 1997. A Victorian rockery is built from slag from ironworks in Boston.
