Set in the grounds of Doddington Hall for the 6th year the Lincolnshire Poacher Concours and Pride of Ownership Show is the flagship event of the MG Car Club Lincolnshire Centre. Approx ½ acre sloping garden with formal and informal features. Abundant borders and island beds with architectural focal points, Mediterranean influence in parts. Highly imaginative garden with exciting mixture of the flamboyant and the quintessentially English.
Set in 5 acres the allotments comprise 60 plots growing fine vegetables, fruit, flowers and herbs. There is a small orchard and wild flower area and a community space adjacent. Grass paths run along the site. Several plots will be open to walk round. There will be a seed and plant stall.
Set in woodland our colourful cottage garden of approx 1 acre was started in 2013 and is still developing. We have mixed borders, shrubs, fernery, several quirky features, vegetable garden, and small secret garden. Plenty of seating around the garden but regret it is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Sink or swim? You can put your boat-building skills to the test by making miniature rafts from natural materials. Once they have been made you can see how good you were, as we test them in our water tank. Relax, you won’t get wet yourself.
