Join Tim Sexton for a talk about woodland management at Rutland Water and some of the fascinating species of fungi found there.

About the event
Rutland Water may only be 50 years old, but remnants of the former landscape include ancient woodlands and species-rich grasslands supporting over 650 species of fungi, have been recorded there in recent years.

Tim will talk about the woodland management of Rutland Water and cover some of the fascinating species of fungi found there - including globally scarce species and rare wetland specialists.

This event is organised by the Newark and Sherwood Local Group of Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.
