This is a perfect time to see the migratory birds and an ideal opportunity to explore birds in flight.
Capturing fast movement and photographing birds in flight is one of the more challenging areas in wildlife photography but without doubt one of the most rewarding when everything goes to plan! We look at the art of freezing high speed and unpredictable movement. This includes gaining an in-depth understanding of your camera, managing key functions, and knowing how to set up your camera to give you the best chance of success.
The workshop includes the art of mastering camera shutter speed and what to go for when. It also looks at how to focus accurately and, vitally, how to track fast and unpredictable movement to capture that elusive moment! A day of photographic agility and stimulation – providing a range of invaluable techniques useful for a vast range of fast-moving situations. This workshop is ideal if you have foundational knowledge in how to use your camera but would like to develop your skills. Content details will be tailored to the course attendees on the day.
Each day is a mixture of classroom learning with an emphasis on outdoor hands-on practice and 1-2-1 tuition.
Please bring your camera with fully charged batteries and formatted memory cards; a standard mid-range zoom lens is perfect and bring a longer lens if you have one.
