The Clerks of the world-renowned Christ Church Cathedral Choir, Oxford, present a programme of reflective music for Lent from the 16th and 17th centuries, including choral works by Tallis, Byrd and Cesis, solo pieces by Caccini and de la Guerre, and Nicolaus Bruhns' cantata De Profundis Clamavi.
All proceeds from this event will go towards the Disasters Emergency Committee, a collection of 15 leading UK Charities specialising in swift response to disasters around the world, with funds at this time going in particular to: those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria; the floods in Pakistan; and the war in Ukraine.
The concert is 8pm-9.15pm. Doors at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £5-£25, with all proceeds being donated to DEC.
