Telford Drinks Festival including 53rd Telford Beer Festival
Not only do we have our Big Festival Bar out again, we’re bringing in dozens of beers, gins and whiskies and then more bottled beers, wines and soft drinks, so there’s something for every palate! We’re running it for extra hours (open each day from 12 noon), so you have plenty of opportunity to make sure you don’t miss anything and we’re putting on more entertainment and events too!
Events include:-
Thursday; - Shropshire's longest-running Open Mic Night from 7.45p.m.
Friday; - From 7.45p.m. - Live Music from the Electric Rayzuns, classic rock and R'n'B.
Saturday; - Tailor Made, live from 7.45p.m. Keyboard and Live Sax on Stage backing an international-award- singing voice. The band tailors its programme to the audience, inviting you to choose what you want from a menu of pop & swing songs, so your evening is “Tailor Made”.
Sunday; - Live music from The Other Half, as this Harmony Duo perform chilled Country & Americana covers, from the Sixties up to the present day. Their beautiful stripped back interpretations are laced with some of the closest harmonies you will hear, often described as ‘near sibling’ quality, although Andrew & Sylvia are actually a married couple. Live from 4p.m.
Monday; - The dynamic rock power trio, Watermelon Chronicles, have a quieter side... honest! Essentially, it's 3 men, 2 guitars, 1 bass and NO DRUMS!!!
What can you expect? An afternoon of rock classics played with an acoustic touch. A great time? You betcha! Live from 4p.m.
