Jocelyn McGregor: in conversation

Learn more about contemporary artist Jocelyn McGregor as she discusses her new exhibition Dredged at Windermere Jetty Museum.

Marie–Anne McQuay, Director of Projects at Arts&Heritage, will chat with Jocelyn McGregor, uncovering the motivations and methods behind her work, practice and the Untold commission.

McGregor’s work explores the relationship between the natural and manmade world, emphasising the impact of the environmental crisis. Dredged brings these ideas together relating it to the local landscape and Windermere Jetty Museum collection.

Marie–Anne McQuay was the Head of Programme at the Bluecoat in Liverpool prior to obtaining her role as Director of Projects at Arts& Heritage. She has extensive experience in the arts sector and has worked with artists including Elizabeth Price, Laure Prouvost and Sonia Boyce.

The exhibition by Jocelyn McGregor is part of Lakeland Arts’ Untold project, a series of contemporary commissions exploring the often untold or missing narratives in Cumbria’s history.
