A TALE OF TWO METAMORPHIC ROCKS AND A PURBECK SEDIMENTARY ROCK. The two metamorphic rocks from Sue Barker are a Blue Schist she found on Anglesey and an Eclogite from Norway. Bob Purser will talk about the Societies ‘Foundation Stone’ - a fine very Purbeck stone above the doorway to the Natural History Society in Castilian Terrace and talk about its geological origins in the quarries of Langton Maltravers on the Isle of Purbeck. There may be Christmas refreshment available!
