Stained Glass Christmas Wreaths Workshop
A one day workshop suitable for those who already have some experience or are new to making stained glass. You may have some experience of cutting, grinding and soldering stained glass either from a previous workshop at Coastal Craft Collective or elsewhere or if this is your first time you will be taught these basic techniques.
Design and make a beautiful Christmas Wreath using Stained Glass and tinned copper wire. In this class you will improve your stained glass technique by making a range of small leaves, berries and nuts out of glass and you will learn how to include tinned copper wire to add pretty embellishments to your piece. A choice of leaf patterns will be available and you can choose from a range of gorgeous textured coloured glass to make your design. All materials will be provided.
The workshop demands dexterity and strength in your hands.
Suitable for people aged 16+. We recommend that you do not attend the course if you are currently pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. This is due to the toxicity of lead which may be in use in the studio. There will be a lunch break. Lunch is not provided. We have a fridge, microwave and kettle. You are welcome to bring your own food or visit one of the great cafes or takeaways in Seaton.
